Peter Woodman, our trainer, has been delivering fire safety training for BlackRock, the multi-trillion dollar investment company, to its City of London office for several years.
The global financial giant was so impressed with Peter’s work that, when it opened a brand new Scottish office, it asked him to make a special trip to Edinburgh and do the same thing there.
BlackRock was taking over 4 floors of Exchange Place, a prime office space in the city, and doubling its operation from 40,000 square feet to 80,000 square feet.
This meant that it needed fire marshal and evacuation training for the hundreds of staff located there.
Peter trained twenty fire marshals and carried out a complete walk through of the building, with the result that the employees were 100% confident in the building and fire assembly point procedures.
