⭐Our Accreditations

1. Payment terms

Payment is taken at time of booking unless otherwise stated. If ‘payment by invoice’ has been previously agreed, the payment needs to be within 30 days of invoice date, or seven days prior to the course date, whichever is soonest

2. Credit terms

Our standard credit terms for account customers are 30 days from date of invoice.

3. Course bookings

Bookings may be made by email, via our website or phone. Please quote purchase order numbers if applicable.

4. Transfers

Should circumstances mean that you need to transfer to another Surrey Fire & Safety Ltd. course, the following charges will apply, dependent on notice given:

  • Changes made to bookings more than four weeks prior to the course start date – no charge
  • Two to four weeks notice given – 25% of the course fee.
  • Less than two weeks notice given – 50% of the course fee.

5. Cancellations

If you have to cancel your course and are unable to transfer your booking to another date, the following charges will apply:

  • More than four weeks prior to the course start date – no charge
  • Two to four weeks prior to the course – 50% of the course fee
  • Less than two weeks prior to the course – full fee.

NB Cancellation must be made via email or phone and received by Surrey Fire & Safety Ltd. by the due date.

6. Non-attendance

If you do not attend a course, and you have not previously informed us, the full course fee remains payable.

7. Late arrivals/missed sessions

If you arrive late for a course, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable.

8. Unforeseen circumstances

On occasion, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel a course. In such circumstances you will be given as much notice as possible and either a free transfer to another course date or a full refund of fees paid.

9. Refresher Training courses

To be eligible to attend a Refresher course you will need to have previously attended a Fire Marshal Training Course, either with Surrey Fire & Safety Ltd. or another provider.

10. VAT

All course fees are subject to the current rate of VAT (valid exemptions only).

11. Distance Selling Regulations 2000

We abide by the applicable elements of the Distance Selling Regulations 2000.

12. Guidelines for delegates and employers

It is the delegates responsibility to ensure that the course they have selected is appropriate for their requirements, and they are able to fully participate in the course. Delegates with disabilities or additional needs that may make accessing the course materials difficult, are advised to check with Surrey Fire and Safety Ltd. prior to booking.

13. Parking

Whilst every effort is made to allow for sufficient parking, we cannot guarantee on site parking. Please read the content of your welcome email for travel details.
